The first Gutter company I had called, was a no show and the second got irate with me after I told him I did not feel comfortable paying for the job up front...duh.
Like they say, the third time's the charm. When I called CoastaGuttersLLC and spoke to Van, we scheduled an estimate that week. When he arrived, we walked around the house and I described the problem I was having whenever it rained and that I wanted gutters around the whole house. He took measurements, made a diagram, showed me the materials he'd use and happily answered my questions. The day of installation, he and his assistant worked efficiently from beginning to end and got the job done without any problem
After being a homeowner for many years, you get to see the good, bad and the ugly, in the world of contractors. When I say that working with Van was a breath of fresh air, I am serious. He and his assistant, were both courteous, and proficient in what they do. I'm grateful for the positive experience working with this company and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Van and his crew are trustworthy and professional. I call them to correct a horrible installation performed by Gutter Gator. They promptly came out and corrected all the problems by repitching the gutters so they drained, reinstalling the mitred corners so they did not drip and installing a downspout that was completely missed by Gutter Gator. I highly recommend Coastal Gutters for any downspout and gutter installation.

We recently purchased a new construction home in Myrtle Beach. The home did not come with gutters so we reached out to a few gutter installation contractors. We found that Coastal Gutters was within the budget and was going to use high quality, and appropriately sized materials for the installation. After consulting with a neighbor, who also had gutters installed by Coastal Gutters, we decided to go with Coastal Gutters. The Coastal Gutter team managed to squeeze us in to the schedule quicker than expected. They were on-time, professional, did an excellent job and cleaned up the job site before leaving. I highly recommend them for gutter installation.

Installation of new 6" Gutters. Mr. Van Melder arrived one day earlier and gave me a quote. When I asked for an expedited delivery he assured me that would occur. At 8:00 am two days later his crew arrived and when they took down the old gutters found major wood rot. His crew made a call and within an hour Mr. Melder showed up with the new wood and gave me a reasonable price. All in all the whole crew were working to finish the job within hours and I am more than pleased with the job & the price. I only gave them a five star rating because there is no six stars or higher.

They came out on time and did a wonderful job. These are good quality gutters and are bigger than my original gutters. Water is not spilling over the top and trees aren't growing in them. Definitely recommend!
